Prepare by parking one car at the signs to Restøylen, where you will come down at the end. Then drive another car to the starting point. You wouldn't want to walk another 12km after this hike! Follow the steep road from the parking place up to the houses. Then follow the trail marked with a red 'T' up to the highest point. This is a quite long and strenuous trail, but the view at the end is stunning! From there follow the red dots, enjoying the view and landscape. When the trees start follow the trail to Restøylen. From there it's about an hour and a half down to the first car.
