Zivile went for a hike.

This route is doable in winter and suitable for families with hiking experience. There are a few more exposed and icy sections where crampons are strongly recommended, and trekking poles helped a lot to prevent slipping. In worse weather conditions, crampons are essential. The lower part of the trail is easy and well-walked. Dogs are not allowed on this route. We completed the hike with a 6-year-old child.

The hike has a gentle ascent, so it’s suitable for families with children. We completed it with a six-year-old without any problems. The trail goes through beautiful forests and then continues into a valley, where stunning mountain views open up. Hiking poles and crampons for winter boots were very helpful to prevent slipping. There is a sign indicating that dogs are not allowed on the trail.

We went without snow shoes as path was hard, just on the top the snow was light and it was quite hard. You need to follow the path, that to avoid deep snow or you need to go with snow shoes. Kids 6 and 16 years old were able to end this route.
