It took me a lot longer and although I'm not inexperienced and I'm in good shape, I can't recommend the tour for mountain bikers. It's only 50% rideable with very good riding technique. And it's very strenuous because of the elevation. To put it simply (I've just completed my 6th Transalb). Great hiking
