The route starts in the village of Bonconseil. We parked our car in a car park in the village, but it seems possible to park the car outside the village in the parking de l'Echaillon, halfway le Monal, if you prefer to walk less.

We have started the route from the SR39 road, when we have found some parking spot in the road after the restaurant at the top of the Col d'Arpy, in front of a picnic area.

This route starts from the camping la Foret, near la Rosiere. The first section is a small walk following the main road from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to la Rosiere. On the first turn, we take the hiking path to the building with the antennas. We walk next to it and continue through the hiking path following
