Today without a drop of rain, but with unknown trail sections in the very rural Palatinate (the rural part starts 5 km behind Mainz; btw: I counted 22 villages ending in -heim). And the centuries-old oak must be so mighty that I couldn't see it😸. As always strenuous, but beautiful 😺.

Rain-free phase not perfectly timed. Had to stop for a good half hour in the rustic bus stop in (J for) Jugenheim (photo 1). In the meantime, not a single bus came by: unforgettable moments of my life! Got wet feet from spray, of course - and my beautiful Specialized also suffered a bit. Tiring, but somehow also very beautiful.

Short evening round, now (at least) a beer is waiting for me 😸. But Komoot is acting up a bit: it was maybe 300 meters of elevation gain and not over 500. I'll keep an eye on it.
