I would not recommend taking Route 230 from Kimobetsu to Jozankei... although the speed limit is 60/80kmh in actuality cars are often driving over 100kmh... it is a winding and very fast road with sections with narrow shoulders limited visibility in corners and tunnels unsuited to safely ride by bicycle.
