We were there in the spring - snow still on the mountain tops and a nice day.  It's a nice walk and beautiful views on the road leading up there.

We are in our mid-60's and in decent shape.  This was not one of our favorite gorges to hike - many of the others we've hiked multiple times.  The hike up the gorge was actually quite nice, hard but worth it.  But the steepness of climbing in multiple places made it so neither of us would want to attempt
