A very pleasant, relaxed hike without any major inclines – a "Norwegian flat" type (gentle ups and downs). A roughly 300 m long section leads along a rocky ledge, mostly about 1-1.5 m wide, on the steep slope (not suitable for those with a fear of heights).

A beautiful hike, mostly over hill and dale, but with only a few spots requiring no scrambling. Magnificent views.

The tour is about 1 km shorter if you take the bus from the Kreuzbergpass (bus stop directly across the street when you come down to the restaurant)

In the morning and on the return to the Auronzo hut there was very thick fog - but we were still rewarded with great views on the way back

Fantastic views. The very exposed sections between Fonda Savio and Auronzo are equipped as via ferratas (a few shorter sections are not). Here and there you have to scramble (up and down) - we were glad we had helmets and via ferrata sets with us.

The first climb, after about 1 km, is a bit more than just scrambling (see photos). Unfortunately, we had to turn back shortly before the final ascent due to strong gusts of wind, and therefore skipped the second climbing section just before the summit – but the descent via the first climbing section went surprisingly well.
