The notorious water quintet route once contrary to the official route recommendation. Since I started in Windhagen, I chose the roundabout 'am Rodt' as the start and finish point. The above 74.6 km concern the pure water quintet route. With temperatures above 30 degrees, the starting conditions were not exactly ideal today - but it went better than expected.I have now traveled the route once in both directions (not today!) And find this variant more attractive. So you have the 'nasty' topography at the beginning of the early kilometers and you have to save less grain for the rest.By the way: Ttetniuqressaw means water quintet backwards. Just in case someone was interested because of the tour name.
The above tour is also available as a Relieve recording under the following link: relive.cc/view/vdvmQBEEXNvAugust 9, 2020

Another attempt to drive to the junction system without a special card. This time I got the node number in advance. noted and drove it along. But even with this test, I did not find all the junctions, because there are simply no directions at some crossroads and fork in the road. The online map is not detailed enough, there is probably no way around the official map. Who cares, I recorded the tour with Relieve: relive.cc/view/vrqD4zYdkwq

I spontaneously decided on routes from the Hückeswagen on the railway line for routes of the junction system. Unfortunately, you got tangled up quickly without a special 'knot card'. Not every fork or intersection is equipped with signposts. Fortunately, there is an online version, but not all cow villages are given place names there or they are missing in komoot. You often have to stop and compare both cards. What is pleasantly surprising is the route. It is not only about bike paths and side streets, but also about forest and field paths. Therefore rather unsuitable for racing bikes. A recommendation for everyone else.
