There is a water tap in Embres-et-Castelmaure on the wall opposite the bibliothèque municipal.
Don't try to shortcut the corner between KM 12 to KM 18. This is hunting area.

One of the best etappes if not the best.
Visit the Quéribus castle ruin. This is a must. Not just because of the Billeterie that sells cold soft drinks and other things.
There is very good eating just south of Tuchan down the D611 on the camping.

The detour via the castle ruin of Peyrepertuse is very much worth the effort for two reasons. The views from up there are just fantastic and the Billeterie is selling cold soft drinks.
Cucugnan is a touristic place offering plenty of overnight stays and very good dinner opportunities.

In Cubières-sur-Cinoble beware of "Le Saouzé". This Chambre d'hôtes is known among the locals for forgetting or misplacing bookings. You might end up without a bed for the night if booking there. Just by luck we could stay in "La Taverne".

There are water taps in Saint-Julia-de-Bec and Saint-Just-et-le-Bézu. These water taps are not mentioned on the Komoot map. They are perfectly OK.

Path is completely uninteresting from KM 14 to the end. Instead of going to Roquefeuil or Espezel, follow the GR straight to Puivert via Montplaisir. It adds another 15km making the trip a total of 30+km of downhill walking.

Path goes through the Gorge de la Frau.
Comus has multiple overnight opportunities. We stayed in the "Silence Du Midi". Perfect choice.
Path diverts here to GR 107 with destination Berga in Spain.

There is an Epicerie next to the chruch in Montferrier.
Path is easy. Unless feeling very tired, add Montségur castle ruin while you're there. The view is stunning.

Path from KM 3.6 to 5.5 is not good. Better alternative is road just south or take the official route from Montgailhard.
There is only one gite in Roquefixade. More overnight opportunities in Leychert, 3km before Roquefixade.

Leave at 7.30 in the morning to be in Roquefort-des-Corbières before 12am if you want to buy lunch in the Boulangerie.
