The most simple and direct route to Thors Cave from Wetton Mill. Small road section but it's usually quiet. We spent 3 hours walking and exploring!! Don't forget all the steps up to Thors Cave and time exploring once there. It can be slippery and muddy. Cafe and toileta at Wetton Mill.

A small loop around the pools at Consall Woods. It took us an hour and a half with lots of stops to feed the ducks, climb the steps and snack on the many benches. Lots of places to extend or shorten route. Mostly muddy paths than a pram can manage if you don't mind the mud.

Exciting terrain, impressive views and a tower you can climb! Follow the signpost from the car park and then choose from one of the many paths over the rocky lyme kilns. We spent 1.5hrs but with lots of playing on the slopes and snack stops. Could be shorter or longer, would be a great picnic spot on a sunny day 😎

As a toddler walk this took us about 3 hours! Lovely paths with lots to explore, the exciting stepping stones and beautiful trees.

A little leg summit at the beautiful National Trust Downs Banks. From the main car park, walk along the main path to the gate and then head uphill to the wonderful views of millennium point before heading back the way you came. Enjoyable for the big and little legs, there are plenty of trees to climbs and benches to pause on.

An iconic walk with spectacular views when it's not in cloud! Round to Roach Hall and up the back of Hen Cloud, then across the Roaches to the Trig Point and back. Down the steps and through the woods to finish. A short stretch on road.

Stopped recording on the return so good luck with finding your way back 🙄

An undulating route through the ancient woodland before sumitting at the Duke of Sutherland Monument with wide views across Stoke-on-Trent countryside. You can then retrace your steps for free or pay £13 entrance fee to Trentham Gardens and make a loop...

I can't edit the route, but go right through the farm and round the footpath! Also the last hill is killer. Could deffo be avoided on a different footpath...
