About Steinhart

A small but really impressively beautiful hike around Rotenberg and Uhlbach with a constant view of the grave chapel on the Württemberg! In the end I didn't visit the latter anymore, after all I've been here several times 😉 But a visit to the grave chapel on the Württemberg is of course a "must" for

Today I went on tour with my running group. 22 people met in Winnenden at 10 a.m. in cold weather to hike the WN6, a hiking trail to the Zipfelbach spring. It was a lovely hike on mostly solid paths, not just because a few fellow hikers were so nice and surprised us with all sorts of solid and liquid

Today I had the right "nose" again: Today's spontaneous little hike took me, among other things, a good distance along the Grenzsteinweg. An absolute highlight in the Swabian Forest and, incomprehensibly, still something of an insider tip! And today it was particularly beautiful: apart from the 50m at

This hike largely follows the Bluestrumpfler Trail in Stuttgart-Heslach. After what felt like an eternity, yesterday I finally had another hike on my agenda. There was once again an activity on the program that had to do with exercise. Therefore, it should of course be one with a lot of variety and as

Today our wonderful trip to Provence and back came to an end. And this final stage actually turned out to be the queen stage. 156 km! What a ride! While we were still suffering from this terrible weather yesterday, today we had the very best conditions: it was not too warm and not too cold, just right

A short description of today's real short stage could be as follows: borderline!
My stoker (that's what the rear rider on the tandem is called) was pretty much exhausted. Kathrin was still freezing and so after almost 67 km we decided to break off our intended stage in Rottweil to Horb and to look for

That was once again a highlight! I traveled to the Eifel with a good friend from Vienna to visit a mutual friend who was very badly affected by the Ahr disaster. Almost everything has been rebuilt now. So with her. We saw a lot of misery in the rest of the Ahr valley. But people have regained courage
