Good shoes required. Think of getting back somehow (bus or taxi) whatever direction you chose.
The trail itself has some tricky parts but its managable if you have done such trails before.

We started at the Tortoise sanctuary and walked the (almost forgotten?) path across the island to the breathtaking Anse Badamier.
