Challenging MTB trail at S3 difficulty level similar to Rocklunda in Västerås (in terms of elevation and overall difficulty) but nicer forest and not so worn track. Challenging sections with both roots and rocks in forest. Short climbs and drops occur also.
Knee and elbow protection recommended.
The small village of Rörbäcksnäs (between Norwegian border and Sälen ski area in Sweden) has somehow managed to create and then maintain some of the best MTB tracks in Sweden. Good trail next to Fagersta (Västmanland), main track approx. 8 km long including a decent cycle park that has some cool turns and one or two jumps. Perfect for familes as well as more experienced mountain bikers. Maximum elevation difference just over 100 m which for this region is quite good
