From the parking lot to the climber's hut at Asselstein it's about 6.5 km, so it's in the middle of the hike. Then a 2km long climb to the Rehberg tower. Great view from up there. From then on it mostly goes downhill.

A very nice, varied tour. Three great huts and the always beautiful Orensfelsen. Some of the paths are beautiful in the forest. A bit strenuous because of the high altitude.
