🇩🇪 Beschreibung (Deutsch) Diese Rundwanderung startet an der Oasis Taverna in Strinilas, wo sich direkt davor einige Parkmöglichkeiten befinden. Falls dort alles belegt ist, kann man problemlos im Ort parken. Der Zugang zum Wanderweg liegt direkt "durch die Taverne" ( einfach den WC-Schildern folgen) und anschließend den Wandermarkierungen bergauf folgen. Der Anstieg auf den Pantokrator, den höchsten Berg Korfus, ist ein echtes Highlight: abwechslungsreiche Pfade, grandiose Aussichten über die gesamte Insel und eine beeindruckende Vegetation machen die Tour zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Trittsicherheit ist stellenweise erforderlich, besonders auf den schmalen Singletrails. Oben erwartet euch das Kloster Pantokrator – ein ruhiger, spiritueller Ort mit kleiner Einkehrmöglichkeit und einem atemberaubenden Rundblick über Korfu bis nach Albanien. Nach etwa 11 km und 330 Höhenmetern führt der Weg als Rundtour zurück nach Strinilas. Zum Abschluss lohnt sich ein Besuch in der Oasis Taverna, wo man den Tag bei gutem Essen, einem Glas Wein und schöner Aussicht ausklingen lassen kann. --- 🇬🇧 Description (English) This circular hike starts at the Oasis Taverna in Strinilas, where you can park right in front of the restaurant (if it’s full, just find a spot in the village). The trail access leads right through the taverna – follow the WC signs and then the trail markings uphill. The ascent to Mount Pantokrator, the highest peak on Corfu, is one of the island’s true hiking highlights. You’ll walk through stunning vegetation, along narrow single trails, and enjoy breathtaking views over the entire island and across to Albania. Sure-footedness is required in some sections. At the summit, you’ll find the Pantokrator Monastery, a peaceful place with a small café and panoramic views in every direction. After about 11 km and 330 m of elevation gain, the loop brings you back to Strinilas.
