Since I always wanted to know what the clearings up high on the Gambarogno side of Lake Maggiore were all about, I decided to walk from Monti di Piazzogna to Monti di Gerra.

This hike from Mergoscia via Monti di Lego to Brione sopra Minusio has become my introductory hike for holidays in Ticino.
