A beautiful route on a beautiful day. Nothing too strenuous as far as hills go, though a fairly long one compared to my recent walks. Really enjoyed it. Lovely part of the country. Will try to do other sections of this Chiltern Way route

The loop is a well known family trail following one of the best routes for views but also to avoid excessive bogs in winter times.
Includes some inclines but is mostly tracked with gravel and fairly easy going.

Great couple of days hiking, with an abrupt early end to this stage with my fellow hikers getting a badly sprained ankle. Fairly heavy backpacks do make any missteps a lot more treacherous.
Other than this, the Chiltern Way is a great route (so far) through quiet and beautiful country with rolling hills
Like
