Très beau parcours pour atteindre le Mondarrain par sa face Nord. La partie sommitale passe au pied d'un site d'escalade et on ira jusqu'au Pic d'Ourresty en Aller-retour. Le panorama au sommet est à 360°, de la Côte Basque (Côte d’Argent) aux Pyrénées béarnaises en passant par les sommets de Navarre. Magnifique endroit ! Beaucoup de beaux parcours de randonnées à faire aux alentours dont la très belle crête du Bizkailuze, le Gorospil, l'Errebi & Atxulegi (Soporro) via la Chapelle de notre Dame de l'Aubepine (Arantza) et son chemin de Croix au départ d'Ainhoa et si on pousse encore un peu plus loin...! Le Lizartzu et ses tunnels franquistes.
