Take the lift from Laveno to the top. Hike through the woods. A wonderful restaurant in called Gigliola on the path in the small city Carese.
From there the path is downhill to Laveno and a long stretch is made of pebble stones - a bit stranious to walk on. Overall a really good hike

From the sanctuary and down, a section of the path is in the woods, it is narrow and not maintained, however it is still not that difficult.
Like
