A great ride starting from Chrisrmass Circle out Borrego Springs road to Yanqui Road and pass. Good pavement. No shoulder on S3 but light tradfic.

The montzuma grade fron Borrego is 12 milesof stiff climbing that was a pleasure. From the top, marked by the 8% geade hiway sign approx 12 miles of climbing . The next 40+ miles is mostly sweet downhill! My tour ended before i returned to Borrego because my battery ran out. Add approx 4 miles.
