But the view from above to the Langsee is very worthwhile, as is the view over the hilly grain fields, and in warm, rainy weather, the probability of encountering a frog here and there is very high.

In case anyone is wondering about the watermark... I had a few branches removed from in front of the Great Spotted Woodpecker using AI. The recording is otherwise real. 😉

A beautiful walking path in nature directly from Eckernförde. Among other things, I also saw a swan sitting in its nest. However, the view was blocked by reeds. I also saw the rather rare great crested grebe. However, this one was also camera-shy and disappeared too quickly into the reeds.
There was a

While my electric car charged grid-beneficial the abundant solar and wind power available that day at the charging station directly at the lake parking lot, I set off to circle the Einfelder See and see the Dosenmoor.
This time I actually saw none of my friends (snails 🐌). But I saw many other animals

On the way back from Fehmarn, we made a detour to the Bungsberg. The highest mountain in Schleswig-Holstein naturally had to be included in my summit badge collection anyway. 😉 First, we took a walk through the beech forest where I found lots of my slimy friends again. Having reached the touristically

After it had rained all day, we had another chance to take a short walk in the evening. Lemkenhafen and Neujellingsdorf are nicely maintained and worth a visit.

Despite rain and wind, we ventured out. In the end, we were completely soaked, but at least we were outside ^^. It's a shame that the beach section we wanted to return along was seasonally closed.

The tour initially went nicely along the sea and then completely over the dike which leads around the Wallnau nature reserve. On the dike path you meet hundreds of sheep that are so tame that you can get within arm's length of them. 🐑 South of the Püttsee pond, a large colony of cormorants nests

Right at the beginning of the tour, 2 wild boars were right next to me in the tall grass. Out of respect for the animals, I preferred to move on quickly, because under certain circumstances the animals can become dangerous. There are an incredible number of deer and cranes in this area. The cranes are
