Great tour to the highest point of Madeira. Good paths and magnificent views also on the way to the summit. The last few meters are a bit more strenuous uphill, but the effort is worth it!

Long route with a strenuous finish. Highlights are the Risco waterfall and the Lagoa das 25 Fontes. The whole hiking trail is beautiful and easy to walk on. When it's wet, you have to be careful on the small steps, but there are always opportunities to hold on. The Casa Rabaçal is also nice as a small stopover!
