Drove out to the Hospital Orang Asli to begin our ride today. The Kia Carnival was able to fit all bikes (maybe even a fifth if we pushed it!). Managed to climb 3/4 way up the slope before one of us realised she needed to go back to deliver an injection to... her cat! Haha. 🙀💉 We turned around and headed back for breakfast. We only rode in the dark, so no photos were taken. Ride #140

Cycled the regular route at the regular time but had to end early at SS2 'coz I got annemergency call saying my Dad had a minor accident there. Thankfully I wasn't far away and could ride there to help out. All good now... If anyone strikes the lottery, half is my Dad's! Ride #139

Up and down, down and up... All around Kepong to Ulu Yam to Bukit Beruntung to Rawang. Suniljit Gill had a flat, which he deftly dealt with quickly but the tube was under-inflated. Stopped again at a petrol station and managed to get some help from other riders. Johan Sopiee had his shifter and RD fail on him... yet the OG managed to continue and finish! Lesson - your gear can make or break a long ride. Gotta get it checked periodically... Just like a car! I had fun with friends and doing crazy stuff together. No more gran fondos for 2026. I'm done. Headed to KL to support the SRKK Day Out and Awards Celebration. Got there early enough to tumpang the KL Car Free Day and ride one loop around the city. Then headed to Bangsar South with the team to replenish calories at Khan Indian Cuisine. Won the 25 year long service award! Ride #137
