Completed the whole loop from the Storey Arms but guess who didn't offline the map before we got there? Was around 500ft from the summit of Corn Ddu before i found some signal 🤣 There was snow at the top, I'm in bits, my knee is considering divorce and I can't wait to do it again.

Did not take 3hrs 10, took 5 hours. When the Gunpowder Trail ends carry on up the Afon Mellte. Very narrow trail with fallen trees to climb over/under but it is passable. You'll reach a point where you cant go any further (lovely photo op) back track a bit and you can climb your way out of the gorge
What. A. Day! Its steep, its rocky, its windy AND ITS INCREDIBLE! Battled a few 'you cant do this' demons and won - the top of Picws Du is the best place Ive ever had lunch. Utterly magnificent. My knees are filing for divorce.
