The route on east side is on an old road that is no longer used by cars and is definitely worthwhile making to complete a beautiful circle of the nun's valley.

Easy walk along coastal path going from Shoeburyness train station and then walking along the sea and then walking onto Leigh-on-Sea which os on the same train line.
