The trail after the summit is good for about 1/2 mile, then degrades into a cow path through brambles, very hard going. Return is on all pacement, i wouldnt do this loop again, would cut it off closer to Foix.

We found the part of the trail where you come out of town confusing and ended up on private property. The owner helped us get back to the public trail, but not everyone will be as nice. There is a road directly from town as an alternative that we took down.
