Bike Ride from Gleanveagh Visitors Centre, to Gleanveagh Castle and beyond.
Avoid the roads, that's only for buses and cars. Cycling is permitted on the dirt track. You have to push your bikes through the gardens. You can park them up outside the castle. Grab and coffee, we took a snack to go and ate it on the way to Fisherman's…

Colony Island. St Patrick's Wishing Chair
You have to wait until lowtide to drive over the causeway. Check with the RNLI for times. Follow the one road as far as you can go. Walk around the headland, into a field, sit down in St Patrick's chair and make a wish 🤞

Really good ride. Great if you're traveling via train. Great pub half way called The Bull. Plus one by the station for a post ride social.
I'd say 50/50 between road and off road. Some of the downhill wooded sections were fun but deep leaves make it hard to navigate, not knowing what's underneath.
