Town Yetholm via Kilham Bridge and back via Mindrum Mill. Wind was a killer, crosswind most of the way, due to the nature of the valley it was more of a headwind down both sides in opposite directions, it only became a tailwind and easier on the way home! The Christmas break and overeating made itself known all the way round, it was more of a struggle than it should’ve been, good ride though.

Out via Mindrum and onto Yeavering via Langham bridge, checked out the foot bridge at Yeavering to Coupland but was too narrow for David’s trike and the ford was a bit high/col for this time of year, but will try again come the summer, so back-tracked to the A697 and left to the bridleway at Galewood. round to Etal for coffee then home via the back lane to Grindon Rigg/Shellacres
