Start your hike in Zachlorou and then take the train back. Make sure to bring thick shoes and...a copy of the train shedule. You hear the train approaching from 2 to 3 minutes away, but you don't want to meet the train in the narrow crossings.

There are two access points to the trail: At the top, near the parking, through the marked gate down a steep and unmarked path, or further down the road, where there is a dirt road leading to the trail, but a fence needs to climbed. The beehives along the dirt road seem abandoned.
