A nice bicycle route for those that prefer to take trains. Starts at KTM Batang Kali and ends at KTM Batu Caves. Takes you through a mostly cool forest hill road. There is a very long climb in the middle. Nice waterfall at recreational forest to take a break on the way down.

This route uses an orang asli (indigenous peoples) access road used by motorbikes. It is quite steep in places 1:1 gear ratio should get you over, but some folks may need to get off and push for a few sections.
Also some parts of the paved access road is degraded and it becomes gravel with some chunky

Due to current scheduling of KTM, you'll need to take the first train heading to Pulau Sebang if you want to reach Sungai Gadut station as early in the morning as possible.
KTM KL Sentral/Midvalley -> KTM Sungai Gadut

Edit route along roads at Jalan Kebun Batu and don't go through plantations paths. Currently overgrown with weeds and flooded pothole gravel paths. Not very scenic either.

There is traffic light with crossing from station, but have to be on side of busy road for about 100m until entering safer village road.

It's a really long walk. Recommend biking here or taking Microlet (small van) instead. Bring swimwear. The beach at the bay below Cristo Rei has clear waters and white sandy beaches
