A somewhat longer tour starting from Millstatt, via Seeboden towards Mölltal, to Spittal, along the Drau River and Sonnwiesen, St. Jakob, and back to Lake Millstatt. The climb to Glanz at the end of the tour makes the whole experience exciting, and the rapid descent to Döbriach is a fantastic finish.

Only got as far as the Lammersdorfer Hut, from there on bicycles are banned in all directions, everything is fenced off. :-( Great climb up to 16% gradient, 1000 meters above sea level from Millstatt! The many cars that overtake you on the way up to the hut are annoying.

It took exactly 1:30 today. On the south bank, mostly great gravel roads (hardpack). Of course, it's very busy in high season.

Danger! The section from km 11.4-14.1 is not recommended - steep, rocky, hike&bike terrain! This section mostly follows the old Roman road, which now resembles a river bed.

Technically demanding, very scenic and mostly lonely gravel tour. Attention, the ascent to the Hohe Warte leads through the beech forest - only recommended in dry conditions! Likewise the last steep meters up to the Auberg! Between KM 3.66 and 4.22 the bike has to be pushed (pathless through the forest).
