This is the full trail that is available when you pay for ‘the Big Hike’. If you pay extra you can choose to do the last climb by 4x4 or horseback. GPS was a bit spotty on the optional loop to the 4th waterfall. Beautiful well maintained and safe trail that is nonetheless challenging if you’re in reasonable physical condition. Not many animals along the way but the scenery more than makes up for it. Amazing view from the restaurant, including lake arenal.
