Inversnaid to Glasgow Gravel ride (and back again)
It was merely planned as a "getting home" ride but the views around Loch Arklet immediately change my mind. This was followed by pristine champagne gravel before it got rough on the West Highland Highway. No carrying, though. Good times!

Glasgow to Inversnaid Gravel ride (there)
Fab easy start then it gets bumpy until it escalates into a hike-a-bike on the West Highland Way. Lots of campgrounds around Loch Lomond, north of Inversnaid. Fun stuff! 🤙

Glasgow - Caldarvan Gravel loop
Fantastic loop that had everything. John Muir, West Highland Highway, champagne gravel, gnarly rocks and toots, steep hike-a-bike, and a flowy flat road section at the end. 10/10

Stewarton - Heron Cafe gravel loop.
Scenic route with a busy cafe halfway. Would recommend riding it when it's not horrendously raining, windy, and generally perfectly uncomfortable outside (speaking from experience ☠️). A bit too much road, tho.

Glasgow - Lennox Cast gravel loop
Nice gravel ride if you're ok with carrying a/pushing it a bit around Lennox Castle. It's MTB country up there. Rest is fab!

Stirling - Carleatheran Windpark - Bannockburn loop
That was very painful. First bit would've been better with a MTB. Ascent to the windpark was, in fact, very windy. Also, parts of it super boggy. Be prepared to carry, push, swear, and have wet feet! Views were stunning, though 🏔️

Dunkeld - Little Glenshee MTB loop
Fantastic ride with some amazing views and single trails. It's a pain, though.
Requires crossing a creek (no bridge) and has several carry passages (deep mud, bogs, loose rocks at ascent).
The last climb is a breaker, super technical - had to carry. The descent after is worth it, though.…

Fabulous gravel ride with some stunning views. Can be done with a road bike but then it's going to be bumpy.

Gravel ride to Whitelee Windfarm
That's was a superb gravel ride. Had a few technical bits and also lots of rough gravel. Fun! There's more to explore at the windpark!

Milngavie - Earl Seat (almost) loop
Thanks Komoot for the lovely (unplanned) hike-a-bike training exercise. While I do believe you that there's supposed to be ways, there are just none. RIP my back.
