Getting out of, and back in to, Albufeira is not fun. But the road to Germano is pretty and challenging. Stop for coffee and natas at the Bike Cafe in Germano! The later climb consumed my legs but it was worth it.

This route uses high-traffic urban roads to link Albufeira to golf course bike paths and the crowded marina walkway. The gradients are sometimes steep but short and not too challenging. I do not recommend using Albufeira as a base for bike rides.
