This route starts and ends in Bridge of Allan, going up to Comrie Moor, along Findu Glen to Glen Artney, then through Strath Ghlinne to Loch Earn, and then through Glen Ample to Callander.



The route really needs to be done when its been dry for a while, but even then you are likely to get wear feet. I

I did this route by getting the early morning Ember bus from Dunblane to Tyndum; this is the Edinburgh to Fort William bus route so there are other options for picking up this bus.

We cycled this over 3 days, staying in Pitlochry, Aviemore and Braemar. It as adapted from other similar routes to add in the Burma Road from Aviemore, and to take an offroad route from Nethy Bridge. There is some hike-a-bike along Loch an Duin (Gaick) for about 2 km, between Nethy Bridge and Tomintoul

This was a flat route through orchards and farmland to the Costa Brava. The flatness of the route meant our average speed was 20 kph. We stopped at a cafe / restaurant in the square in Verges.
