I had a recommendation for this route from some nice people I met last Sunday, so with a couple of days off I headed over. It didn't disappoint one bit. A glorious ride that suits all and some fantastic scenery. The tunnels were awesome to ride through. Highly recommend.

Guided ride of the Lias line
2nd guided ride of the season , we had a few along today, a small group but nice group nonetheless. I enjoy helping out on these rides and it doesn't hurt that we start and end at a cafe.

Helping out on a late season guided ride
A fabulous afternoon of cycling today, I ended up Marshalling on a guided ride and talk along the Lias line. Met some lovely people and really enjoyed a good ride in the sunshine and it's the furthest I've been in a long time.

With a bit of better weather today I serviced the Whyte and went for a little spin. Practically the first time out on a bike since last August. I'm reasonably happy that my shoulders are coming along now and feeling pretty ok , the elbow isn't hurting at all. Not saying I could do one of my bigger rides

Well, my 1st proper ride in best part of a year. A gentle bit of woodland off road and a general plod in the sun for no reason other than why not. My shoulders were fine until the last mile or so and the elbow is OK. So that's all good. Thoroughly enjoyed this one today.
