Mountainbike-Fahrt
Von Wolkenstein nach Marienberg hätte ich die Landstraße nehmen sollen. Ich bin natürlich erstmal runter gedonnert, um dann den laaangen Anstieg durch Großrückerswalde wieder hoch zu fahren 🙆♂️🤦♂️

My summer vacation tour 2026 starts at the front door and the rough goal should be the Saxon Middle Hills long-distance cycle path. First to Saxony.
I wasn't entirely sure where the path exactly started, so I first took the Elster cycle path towards Oelsnitz, hoping to find the sign with the orange bicycle

Mountainbike-Fahrt
Wieder eine Tour unter der Rubrik: "wir starten an der Haustür".
Weils hier halt einfach schön ist 😎
Nur 2-3 km wenig befahrene Landstraße, der Rest Fahrrad- und Waldweg. Vorbei an Schloß Burgk nach Walsburg, diesen Teil liebe ich einfach.

Stehpaddeln Saaldorf
Eine von mehreren möglichen Touren auf unseren beiden Stauseen. Ein- und Ausstieg am Steg der Kanuten in Saaldorf. Vom Auto sind es nur ca. 50 Meter ins Wasser.
Eine wunderschöne ruhige Strecke für den Feierabend, ohne die teils nervigen Motorboote. Absolut erholsam und irgendwie wiedermal Urlaub zuhause.

Day 3 was similar to the previous day: look for the signs. But whether I follow the route exactly or not, it's nice to explore the villages and towns of Erzgebirge. The kilometers still have to be earned through hard work. The panniers pull on the rear wheel and I'm riding without power.
