Heute bin ich mal mit dem Fahrrad von Cuxhaven nach Otterndorf gefahren, um mir die Ausstellung "Metropolian-Baroque" im Museum für gegenstandsfreie Kunst anzuschauen. Für die Komoot-Community sei gesagt: Ich habe diese Tour auf befestigten Radwegen gemacht. Ich bin nur ein relativ kurzes Stück, auf dem Rückweg, entlang des Außendeichs gefahren. Auf der Außendeichstrecke, mit wunderbarem Elbblick, sind zur aktuellen Jahreszeit, noch die Weidegatter geschlossen!!! Da müsste ich dann alle 500m vom Rad absteigen, um die Gatter zu öffnen. Das ist nix für mich! Für die Kunst-Commuity sei gesagt: Mit "Metropolitan Baroque" präsentiert das Museum gegenstandsfreier Kunst in Otterndorf die erste deutsche Museumsausstellung des international renommierten ungarischen Künstlers Márton Nemes (geb. 1986, in Székesfehérvár, Ungarn). Nemes verbindet Malerei, Skulptur, Installation und Sound zu vibrierenden Raumkompositionen. Seine Werke leuchten reflektieren und pulsieren - sie greifen Einflüsse aus urbane Architektur, Techno-Kultur und digitalen Bildwelten auf und verwandeln sie in ein raumgreifendes, sinnliches Erlebnis.

Zur Abwechslung wollte ich gerne mal wieder eine Fahrradtour außerhalb meines "Einzugsgebiets" unternehmen. Also ging es erstmal mit der DB nach Bremervörde, weiter mit dem Rad nach Bremen und dann wieder mit der DB nach hause. Unterwegs fiel mir dann das Motto des Fahrradausflugs ein: Tour durch das herbstliche Niedersachsen! Warum, dass erkannt man am besten bei einem Blick auf die Fotos, die ich unterwegs gemacht habe. Achtung: bei Bremervörde bin ich ein Stück an der Oste flussaufwärts gefahren - das ist ein Wanderweg der nicht gut mit dem Rad zu befahren ist.

Rotterdam wurde im 2. Weltkrieg von den Deutschen fast vollständig zerstört und ist seit dem Wiederaufbau für das futuristisch-moderne Stadtbild bekannt. Rotterdam ist die coole, avantgardistische Schwester Amsterdams – mit Beton, Brücken und einer Menge Meerluft. Eine moderne Hafenmetropole mit kreativer Szene und einem der größten Seehäfen der Welt, kombiniert mit lebendigen Märkten, spannenden Museen und einer internationalen, weltoffenen Atmosphäre. Die erste Fußgängerzone Europas wurde 1953 in Rotterdam eingerichtet. Die Einkaufsstraße Lijnbaan wurde damals autofrei gemacht. Eine Tagesfahrradtour durch Rotterdam reicht nicht aus und macht Hunger auf mehr.
