Finally, we have arrived at our finish line after 1'240 km in 50 days with 21'600 m ascents.
The first 6 km of today's walk was on the main road, Via Cassia, sometimes with pavement, sometimes without. The pavement was wide enough for only one person and there was so much weed, leaves, rubbish, and

After a small breakfast (luckily, there was a Nespresso machine) we set out for the second last day of our long walk. We've been so lucky with the weather. It makes walking so much more pleasant.
Today's walk was mostly through a wild forest, a pasture with horses, and a nice park with a mountain bike

Montefiascone is a medieval town on the top of a hill (what else?) looking

We had nice dinner yesterday. Usually, we have a mixed salad and a pasta dish. In Tuscany, it was pici, homemade thick spaghetti, either with truffle or porcini. Yesterday, we had an anchovy and lemon sauce.
Before we started walking at full speed, we went to the church to have a look at the 10th century
