Tom Go went for a hike.

Vorsicht!

Very warm in midsummer! The first steep climb demands everything from you.
I started at 5:15 p.m. and struggled until I could finally ride in the shade. Then the tour turned out to be beautiful.
The warning about bears accompanies you all the way to the finish, luckily I didn't see any! 😀

A bike & hike tour for the afternoon or early evening, as you'll be walking in the shade.
Experienced road bike or mountain bike riders can take their bikes up to the Castello. Really cool! 99% of tourists take the inclined elevator, so you're pretty much alone.
From the Castello, we then walked uphill

If you want to do some exercise before breakfast in Riva, I recommend this little tour with a great view.
Have fun!

Road bike tour for climbers!
Little-used, top asphalt road to Gfrill near Salurn.
Rode it midday to escape the valley heat. 75% of the time you drive in the shade!
In Gfrill it is 8 - 10 °C less than in the valley.
So 25°C instead of 35°C!
Have fun!

Nice Berg/Waalweg combination for everyone!
Starting point: Thurnstein Castle
Initially slightly uphill towards Schloss Tirol, then not long, steeply uphill but beautiful, then following the Kuenser Waalweg slightly downhill and then the shortest way back.
Of course with a visit to the ice cream parlor

On holiday in Riva, you can see this beautiful road carved into the rock towards Lemone, with a constant 5-6% gradient.
So I put on gravel tires and planned a tour to Lago de Legro.
The good thing: The path is only open to cyclists and pedestrians.
The bad thing: The first 2 km are very rocky, but easy
