To conclude our stay on La Gomera, we opted for this circular hike in the La Laja valley. The weather cooperated, even though it looked overcast at higher altitudes around the Roques.

Today, on the way to San Sebastian, we did a short hike around and up Garajonay. Unfortunately, there were no distant views. But the vegetation along the trail is always lovely. Despite the less than ideal weather, there were quite a few hikers out. Parking spaces were scarce.

Third time's the charm! Today we finally made it – a hike up in Garajonay National Park. It was foggy again today, so the cloud forest was living up to its name. But thankfully, there was no rain, and the temperature was a pleasant 15 degrees Celsius.

Today, we abandoned Plan A and implemented Plan B. The reason: a storm and light rain – not ideal! The other side of the valley looked better. So we turned back, which wasn't a big deal in this case.
