This is a great ride. It can be overgrown during the summer. Check for firing range times, and make sure you get the route correct coming back down combe Tor, I think, just after the farms as there are two gates and you want the second gate which has a path that passes between the fields

Great ride around Belever forest. This time of year the Moor is beautiful with the flowers in bloom and cows and sheep nursing their young calves and lambs, and horses with their foals. The riding is easier when the ground is dry & sun hardened
