Today, the ADFC (German Cyclists' Association) took us out for the last ride of the year. The weather was dry, foggy but otherwise good. A bit chilly, but manageable with the right clothing. When we arrived at Genkel, the sun came out and it got really warm. 👍🏼 Unfortunately, Komoot crashed during

We started in the Immeker Valley. There, we inspected the pond system, which had been redesigned this summer, and tested its suitability by ferry. Result: It's a dive. 🤣 Five people were too many, and we got our feet wet. 💦
To our second POI, we cycled into the city center, to the parking lot behind

We cycled around Meinerzhagen on natural and paved paths (16/14 km) to the respective sources of the Lister, Volme, Agger, Wipper*, and Genkel!
*Wipper; later Wupper, is of course only formally (based on the guide's humorous nature) attributed to Meinerzhagen: it rises in the Oberberg region - but: the

Today I went up to the "Kompass" again. I inspected all the paths being built here for the new Rudersdorf Tunnel. It's crazy how everything has changed and how much earth and stone has been moved so far – and that's just for the paths. The two new tunnel tubes being built will be even more dramatic.

After the first ride on the Voltage on Saturday was only short and had to be cut short due to a faulty gear system, the first real ride was able to begin today, as the gear system was readjusted yesterday. What can I say? It's amazing. 💪🏼🤩

Cyclists from the MK, OE, and SI-BLB districts, especially members of the local ADFC (German Cyclists' Federation) groups there, rode in a rally to the "Gut Kalberschnacke" restaurant at the Listertalsperre dam! Whether mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, e-MTBs, or e-road bikes, a diverse mix

What do you do when you haven't been able to sleep since 2 a.m.? That's right, wait until it gets light and then get on the bike. 🚵🏼♂️ Through the fog 🌫️ at 5 °C up above the clouds. 🌁 Unfortunately, that doesn't come across in the pictures. Today in bad weather gear with the big fender on the rear wheel.

Unfortunately, we chatted a bit too much and by the time we looked outside, it was already quite dark. We quickly paid and headed straight back to MZHG. Riding in the dark is a rather unnerving feeling, but all 13 of us bikers were equipped with lights front and rear, as well as reflectors, so drivers
