Eigenlijk ben ik altijd een recreatieve duursporter geweest. Hoewel het fanatieke volleybal van mijn jongere jaren niet echt tot duursporten hoort. Jarenlang was ik trouw deelnemer aan in-line skate toertochten, peloton en vrije tochten. Vakantiewandelaar met mijn vrouw en kinderen van jongs af aan. Flinke dagtochten in de bergen zijn nu mijn favoriet. Het in-line skaten is inmiddels ingewisseld voor fietsen. Wat begon met dagtochten groeit nu meer en meer naar een heuse fietsvakantie…. What’s next?

Actually, I've always been a recreational endurance athlete. Although the fanatical volleyball of my younger years isn't really considered endurance sports. For years, I was a faithful participant in inline skating tours, peloton, and free rides. I've been a holiday hiker with my wife and children from a young age. Long day hikes in the mountains are now my favorite. Inline skating has since been replaced by cycling. What started as day trips is now increasingly evolving into a full-blown cycling holiday... What's next?
