Alternative hike instead of Walenstadtberg directly from Walenstadt, past the church and up Lüsisstrasse.
Well signposted from Lüsis.
Beautiful but strenuous hike. Condition is required The last section is very rocky. Sure-footedness and a head for heights is a must.
