The whole hike including stops and pauses takes about 4 hours. In summer, be sure to start early from Tudorovici, to take the first (steep) part in shade. The first part is also a bit "bushy", so I recommend long pants and then change to shorts on the top. I never go later than 8 am from Tudorovici
