Magnificent climb to the "Matterhorn" Jenas. Then you walk along the Jenzigrücken with wonderful distant views. Down into an idyllic valley with the ancient village of Laasan, which has a remarkable town hall. The village community has lovingly cared for so much here. Then back towards Jenzig halfway through the forest.

A very nice way, the victory on the left and right, it is part of the Siegsteig.
Start in Windeck-Herchen. I went towards the water treading point, then left towards the old cemetery, right at the next crossroads, shortly afterwards left again, now it's on the Siegsteig. After a short climb you come to the so-called Thingstätte, an inglorious relic from the Nazi era, a little scary, so in the middle of the forest. Now it's quite steep up a nice little forest path. It goes through beautiful beech forest, unfortunately also through spruce sparing, and through bushy clearings with wonderfully glowing gorse. And again and again deep sieves with small, gurgling brooks, so typical. In between you can catch a glimpse of the victory from beautiful viewpoints like the Düsseldorfer Hütte. Then it goes up again and then down towards Herchen Bahnhof. We cross the Sieg on the railway bridge, and stroll comfortably back along the Sieg.
