But I still need some exercise, so what could be better than venturing into the torture chamber underground and kicking the rubberized endless loop underfoot?

Just to do it instead of lazing around at home in this absolutely miserable weather...

On Monday, the forecast predicted TERRIBLE weather this week – which turned out to be more than accurate – but I took advantage of today's brief spell of high pressure to enjoy the sunshine, albeit with a decent westerly wind and pleasant temperatures.

Here we go again, it's becoming a habit, this day. But instead of dwelling on it and dissecting all the pros and cons (you'd never finish), I checked the local webcams. The view towards the Swiss Plateau promised significantly better weather conditions than in the northern Jura Mountains.
