This hiking route is difficult, but very rewarding. Due to my phone constantly losing gps signal, it shows incorrectly how long did I walk. It took me little over 9 hours to complete the route, including one hour break at the top to visit the Königshaus and have a meal in a nearby restaurant. Partnachklamm is a beautiful gorge, with immense amounts of water rushing through it loudly every second. In contrast to it, the way up to the Königshaus, Kälbersteig, leads through the woods filled with peace and serenity and one is rewarded with breathless views over Garmisch-Partenkirchen and surrounding area. It is truly a wonderful route!

A beautiful tour with wonderful views, however, a part between Monti di Lenno and Casarico is absolutely not suitable for bikes. The path is covered in stones, some stairs and a lot of grass. Still, the views are magnificent. :)
